About Us

Background

The Infant Jesus Soccer Club (IJSC) has been in existence for over 40 years and is proud to represent the Infant Jesus Primary School within the Football West State Mini-Roos Soccer League.

The IJSC is one of the few remaining catholic school soccer clubs within the state and as such provides a rather unique environment for its members.  A key tenant of the IJSC constitution is for the values of the Infant Jesus Primary School to be upheld and fostered within its membership.

The IJSC operates as a sub-committee of the Infant Jesus P&F and works within the Sub-Committee Guidelines.

In 2019 the election of the IJSC Committee resulted in continued growth of its membership, with 13 committee members elected and all office holder positions filled. This will enable strong governance over the running of the clubs activities, sharing of the responsibilities for key duties, and focus on developing more efficient and effective ways for the club to operate in future.

Vision

The IJSC aims to foster the community spirit of the Infant Jesus Primary School to provide it’s members with affordable access to quality facilities and coaching, within an environment that upholds the catholic values of the school.

"Such a welcoming spirit, great sense of teamwork and camaraderie"

Review of Leanne L

What a wonderful club to join! Such a welcoming spirit, great sense of teamwork and camaraderie. All important values to teach our kids in competitive sport.
My... son doesn't go to Infant Jesus Primary school, but it doesn't matter. We were welcomed with open arms, and he sees the IJs soccer club as his second family.
Professional coaching team, many from high-level soccer backgrounds, so the kids are learning and developing their skills from dedicated and experienced coaches.
