“The Infant Jesus Soccer Club is raising money for a new line marking machine as our old one is on its last legs and our amazing Vice President Craig Coates is wasting a lot of his valuable time repairing it every couple of weeks when he does the line marking.

A Goalathon will be held during our training session on Tuesday 27th June and all kids will get the chance to kick as many goals as they can within one minute.

We’ve tested a few of the kids from the different age groups, with the younger kids being placed closer to the goal and the older kids further away to even things up.  To give you an idea of how many goals may be scored we had scores from 5 goals up to 14 goals!!!

There are prizes for the kids to win, including for most funds raised, most goals scored and a few mystery categories.  You can also find the fundraising form attached if you need another one.

To make it as much fun as possible for the kids it would be great to have as many parents there to cheer on their kids and also to catch all the balls that miss the goals!!!

We will be having Pizza delivered towards the end of training which can be purchased by the slice for a gold coin.

This is our one and only fundraising event for the year so we welcome your support and hope you and the kids enjoy the fun!

I handed out quite a few hardcopies of the sponsorship form tonight, however if you didn’t receive one please print out the attached form and bring it to training on Tuesday 27th June.

The training session will run for the normal time frame and the teams will be rotated through the Goalathon and then return to their normal training.”
